A few days ago, Bungie took to the internet and announced their upcoming plans for Destiny 2’s future that considered of Three upcoming expansions in Beyond Light, The Witch Queen and LightFall, and the Destiny Content Vault. The latter of which has been a source of contention for a number of Destiny fans. But why?
The Destiny Content Vault or DCV is essentially a place where Destiny 2 content will now go to die. Those aren’t Bungie’s words, but what they did say is that they’re moving several locations and a raid over to the DCV as an attempt to save hard drive space. While it’s true Destiny 2 has grown damned large, weighing at 165GB, I felt there had to be a better way to do this.
So that’s what I’m talking about in today’s (well, yesterday’s) video regarding the Destiny Content Vault. Part opinion, part speculation, and of course, 100% real talk about how I feel about this upcoming change. So give it a watch, yeah?
