Solving the Subway Train Route Puzzle – Resident Evil 3 Remake

By Keith MitchellApril 2, 2020

Early on in Resident Evil 3, you’ll come across the subway train route puzzle, which requires you to plot out the route from Redstone Street to Fox Park. This sounds easy, except there are several blocked routes that prohibit a straight route.

But not to worry as we’ve provided the solution to this puzzle.

Solving the Subway Train Route Puzzle

To solve this puzzle, you’ll need to take a look at the route that’s on the main screen in front of you.

On it will be several stations, their IDs and several tracks that connect them. Take this information and punch those IDs into the terminal to proceed down the track.

The route you need to take will lead you from Redstone Street (RE 01), past Faust Avenue (FA 02), Raccoon Central Station (RA 03), Saint Michael’s Clock Tower (SA 02), and ending at Fox Park (FO 01).

The correct sequence is as follows; RE 01, FA 02, RA 03, SA 02, FO 01.

Once you’ve entered this, press the green button to confirm and you’ll get a cut scene with Carlos confirming that everything is good now.

It’s a pretty easy puzzle, but a puzzle that the game suddenly tosses at you when all you’ve been doing before this was running and gunning. Just a little something to get the brain flowing.

Resident Evil 3 releases on April 3rd, 2020 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
