Netflix’s ‘Castlevania Season 3’ arrives on March 5th

By Keith MitchellFebruary 17, 2020
Netflix's Castlevania series

Just because Dracula is dead, doesn’t mean the party is over. I mean, you did see the finale of ‘Netflix’s Castlevania Season 2’, right?

Thanks to the efforts of Alucard, Trevor Belmont, and Sypha Belnades, the big bad (not completely) Dracula was put to rest. However, there’s still a whole bunch of evil left in the world. Not only did a handful of his companions (Carmilla) still remain undead, but so the Devil Forgemasters, Isaac and Hector. Though Hector was currently serving as Carmilla’s bitch when we last saw him. Then there’s the little issue of some really nasty humans who’re still a huge pain in the ass.

Thus here’s where season 3 of Castlevania will cover and judging from the teaser trailer, this season is going to be as good as the previous two. It also looks like old Trevor has learned a new trick or two. I suppose that’s a good thing, as he’ll likely need it if he’s to survive. And what about Drac? Something tells me we haven’t seen the rest of him. You have played Castlevania, right?

Season 3 will also be the longest season to date, with 10 episodes. Which is two more episodes more than the second season. Novelist and comic book writer Warren Ellis also returns as the writer and producer for season 3. Powerhouse Animation is handling the animation duties, a studio that made the other two seasons look amazing.

Netflix’s Castlevania arrives on Netflix on March 5th, 2020.
