Final Fantasy VII Remake has been delayed until April 10

Final Fantasy VII Remake

We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it has to be done. Square Enix has announced that the remake of their classic JRPG, Final Fantasy VII Remake has been delayed. The game will miss its original release date and has been bumped back to April 10, 2020.

The reason? Square Enix wants to make this an amazing experience and has decided to delay the game to add some extra polish. I applaud them for making this decision and I’m glad to see that more developers are taking their time to provide “finished” products. If it has to be delayed, then delay it, we can wait.

This also means that March is a bit less cluttered, now that Final Fantasy VII Remake has been bumped back a month. However, this move puts the remake right smack in the middle of some other AAA titles being released in April. Mainly Resident Evil 3 Remake and Cyberpunk 2077.

Now, what about that demo that is apparently floating around on the PlayStation Network? Surely, this would help pass the time while we wait for the official release.

Final Fantasy VII Remake will now release on April 10, 2020, for the PlayStation 4.
