Awesome Games Done Quick 2020 Wraps Up

This year’s Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) concluded its week-long 24-hour speedrunning marathon! This was the 10th anniversary of the event and it ended up raising $3.13 million for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

AGDQ 2020 By the Numbers:

  • Total Donations: 54,000
  • # of Countries Donations Originated from: 80
  • Live Attendance: 2,750
  • Peak Concurrent Viewers on Twitch: 236,000

Since 2010, Games Done Quick has raised more than $25 million for charities around the world, including Doctors Without Borders, AbleGamers, and Organization for Autism Research. AGDQ 2020 is sponsored by PlayStation, Final Fantasy XIV Online, The Yetee, Annapurna Interactive, Fangamer, Team Meat, NIS America, Tokyo Attack!, World 9 Gaming, MAGFest, and Red Bull.

The next live GDQ event will be Summer Games Done Quick 2020 taking place June 21-28 in Bloomington, MN. The 11th annual Awesome Games Done Quick event will take place from January 3-10 in a location yet to be announced.
