Crunchyroll announced today that they have picked the award categories as well as the judges for the 2020 Anime Awards! Voting for the awards will begin on January 10 and end on January 17. A few of the awards such as Best Fight Scene and Best Couple, which were crowd favorites, are returning this year!

- Best Director
