Kill La Kill: IF Patch 1.05 introduces Mako Mankanshoku to the roster

By Keith MitchellDecember 1, 2019
Mako Mankanshoku joins the Kill la Kill IF roster

Mako Mankanshoku has arrived, and it’s about time

When I reviewed Arc System’s Kill La Kill: IF a few months back, I was shocked to see that one of the best characters in the anime was missing. I’m referring to Mako Mankanshoku, who served as not only best friend to Ryuko, but also the comedic element and she even got her own Two-Star Goku Uniform. It was a very odd decision to have her as a playable character, but thankfully that mistake has been corrected in the recent 1.05 update for the game.

Now fans of Mako can enjoy all of her antics as she puts the smackdown on everyone.

That’s not all, as update 1.05 adds several much-needed improvements, that include the missing damage values, several characters balancing QOL updates and several other changes. You can find the full patch notes here.

Sadly, this update is only for the PS4 and PC version of the game. While the Nintendo Switch version is missing out on perhaps is one of the best characters in the entire anime. We’ve reached out to Arc Systems to see when we can expect an update for the Switch version of Kill la Kill: IF.
