‘Birds of Prey’ Gets First Full Trailer

By Todd BlackOctober 1, 2019
Birds of Prey

It’s been a long time coming, but Harley Quinn is about to get emancipated, and make some new friends along the way! Enter the first trailer for Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of Harley Quinn). The upcoming R-rated movie from DC Comics and Warner Bros has been teased for some time, and now we get a full look at how crazy things are going to get.

Not surprisingly, the main focus is on Harley, who is confirmed to have broken up with Joker since the events of Suicide Squad (where he broke her out of Belle Reeve at the end of the movie). And now, she’s trying to make her way in Gotham, but finds herself caught in a battle with the forces of Black Mask (Ewan McGregor).

The other Birds of Prey get their own little shots in this trailer, and will no doubt be getting more of a focus in subsequent trailers. But this one is about Harley Freaking Quinn. And we’re ok with that.

Birds of Prey releases February 7th, 2020.
