The Attack of the Titan anime is getting the film treatment

By Keith MitchellJune 8, 2014

attack_on_titan_Eren_JaegerNo,  I’m not referring to that possible train wreck that is the live-action movie, I’m referring to the anime which will make it’s way to theaters across Japan.

Last years break out anime and a favorite of mine, Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) is being made into an film compilation.  The films will be featured as two different releases with the first part, Attack on Titan part I: Crimson Bow and Arrow opening in Japan on November 22nd and will cover the first 13 episodes followed up by the second part, Attack on Titan part II: Wings of Freedom which concludes the first season of the anime with episodes 14-25 and will release some time in 2015.

As part of the new make over both films will be treated to a 5.1 remastering with many of the original voice actors returning such as Yuuki Kaji, Yui Ishikawa and Marina Inoue who will reprise the roles of Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlelt respectfully.

Attack on Titan OVA

Both films will run in theaters in Japan and tickets for Crimson Arrow and Bow will go on sale starting June 21st.

Dang it, why does Japan always get the cool stuff.
