Yakuza 6 - Oh Yeah

A physical collection of Yakuza 3-5 was announced today, with Yakuza 3 available digitally now.

The Yakuza Remastered: Day One Edition will be available February 11, 2020, which is the same day Yakuza 5 will unlock if you buy the collection digitally. Yakuza 4 will be added on October 29th, 2019.

The PS3 case for Yakuza 5 will also be included in the physical collection, which was only available digitally in the west last gen.

Each game in the collection has received a graphical overhaul as well, with each game being bumped up from 720p to 1080p, and 30fps to 60fps. A new localization effort has been introduced, with each of the games receiving revisited scripts. Lastly, all the content that was previously cut from each game has been restored in the Yakuza 3-5 Remaster Collection.

With the Remasters heading to PS4, this means that all all seven mainline games will be playable on the PlayStation 4. Not to mention Yakuza Kiwami and Kiwami 2 and other titles by Ryu Ga Gatoku Studios such as Judgement and Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise.

For those new to the series who own a PS4, Yakuza 0 is on sale for $11.99 on PSN.
