Cross-Save is coming to Destiny 2 this August 21st

Shadowkeep

Heads up, my fellow Guardians! Cross-Save is coming to Destiny 2 on August 21st, 2019.

While Destiny 2: Shadowkeep was pushed back until September 2019, Bungie has promised that we’ll still be able to move our data between the PS4, Xbox, and PC. Meaning that once this gets put into play, we’ll likely see a mass of people making the jump to the PC version (cause it’s the best) or vice versa.

Sadly, since Shadowkeep was delayed, that also means that the move to Steam was also delayed. Which won’t happen now until October 1st. Sign up here to be notified by Bungie on when we can expect to this space magic performed.

For those still grinding out the Solstice of Heroes 2019 and thought that killing 100 minibosses was too much. Bungie agrees with you and as of August 13, they’ll roll out hotfix 2.5.1 nerfs the number of minibosses to 50. Yep, for all of us who already did the grind, well, congrats?

Solstice of Heroes: 100 Mini Bosses
For next week’s hotfix, we re-evaluated the objective requirements for unlocking the Majestic Solstice armor sets. Specifically among these objectives, we believe the 100 Mini Boss challenge has the most room for improvement. Here are the changes we’re making:
  • This objective is being scaled down from 100 Mini Bosses defeated to 50
  • Completing the final boss round contributes an additional 5 points of progress

This hotfix will also address several outstanding issues with the game.

Lastly, Bungie has stated that we’ll find out more about Shadowkeep during Gamescom 2019, which takes place from August 20-24, 2019. I don’t know about you but I’m excited to be heading back to the moon. I missed the wizards……

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep was originally slated for a September 17, 2019 release date, but will now release on October 1st, 2019. It will be released for the PS4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia.
