Get in the damned Eva Shinji!
Since the release of the last Rebuild of Evangelion movie (Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition), fans have been waiting for the day that the last film would be released. Sadly, that day hasn’t come yet, however, we do have yet another teaser trailer.
Clocking in just over 30 seconds, this new teaser gives way to new scenes that we haven’t seen before. A new Eva appears, rocking a gun and it looks a bit like Eva Unit #2. Shinji, Asuka and Rei Ayanami are still lost, while the AAA Wunder is still intact and so much more. Lastly, just like every film before it, the music simply sounds amazing.
Seriously, I can’t even begin to tell you how much I’m looking forward to this movie.

Evangelion:3.0 + 1.0 will see a Japanese theatrical release during June 2020. No word as of yet if there will be any screenings in the West. However, judging how anime in the West has gained even more popularity and we have seen plenty of theatrical releases throughout the past few years. I can only hope that it is.
