World of Warcraft ‘Rise of Azshara’ update drops on June 25

It’s not a secret that when the latest expansion for World of Warcraft, Battle for Azeroth, released that it wasn’t a crowd pleaser. In fact, many have rated it as one of the worst expansions of the series. Right up there with Warlords of Draenor (shudder). Seeing how BFA wasn’t doing as well as they’d like it to have, Blizzard started working their magic to turn the series around. Now, they’re set to release their latest update with ‘Rise of Azshara’ or just Patch 8.2, on June 25th, 2019.

So, what can you expect in this massive update? According to Blizzard, there’s more than enough here to keep you busy for quite some time. Two new zones, a new and massive dungeon (lovely), a huge change up to the current Azerite system and even a new raid called Azshara’s Palace. Of which, one of the new zones is Mechagon, a Gnome-themed island which I know some of you are going to love

But more than anything, players will finally be able to take it to Queen Azshara. You know, that pesky character who’s made a few appearances in the World of Warcraft and often you just wanted to kill her off. Well, now you’ll finally get your chance.

Blizzard is betting the farm on this one and they’re really hoping players will enjoy that they’re offering. Not to mention the MMO scene is heating up with the release of not only World of Warcraft: Classic, but also the Shadowbreakers expansion for Final Fantasy 14 that’s releasing on July 2, 2019.
