E3 2019: The Witcher 3 Arrives on Switch This Year

CD Projekt Red’s massive open-world RPG is heading to Nintendo Switch later this year, Nintendo revealed during their E3 Nintendo Direct presentation.

The acclaimed open world adventure and winner of over 250 Game of the Year awards, #TheWitcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition, comes to #NintendoSwitch! Take your steel and silver swords anywhere you want when the game launches in 2019. pic.twitter.com/JD1bzB5jU8

Surprisingly, the game will include both expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, as well as all 16 of the game’s smaller DLCs. The game itself is massive, and the expansions are just as huge, so it’s highly likely that this game will require a separate download even if you opt for a cartridge, just like so many other Switch titles.

You’ll be able to hunt monsters on the go when The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launches on Nintendo Switch later this year.

UPDATE: The entire Witcher package will be completely contained on a 32GB cartridge. The physical game won’t require you to download anything.

When he's not playing video games, Diego's talking about video games, and he does both a lot.
