E3 2019: Luigi’s Mansion 3 Detailed By Nintendo

One of the many games that Nintendo stated would come this year in regards to the Switch was Luigi’s Mansion 3. It was unveiled at a Nintendo Direct last year, but since then we haven’t heard much. But, at E3 2019, we found out a ton of new things about the game, including its story, and the new abilities of Luigi himself.

In this game, Luigi, Mario, Princess Peach, and the Toads are going to a very “special” hotel. But things turn dark when Mario, Peach, and crew suddenly disappear. It’s up to Luigi to travel throughout the hotel, catch the ghosts, and then free his friends!

To do this, Luigi must use his Poltergeist G-00, which is loaded with new features. Such as the Slam Attack to hurt ghosts, the Suction Cup feature which he can use to throw and pull objects in the world. And then, there’s Goouigi, who is a literal goo-form of Luigi that can do things the main Luigi can’t. Goouigi is able to be playable in co-op for more fun.

There’s also an online co-op mode in the game where players will all be a Luigi and try to complete obstacles and capture ghosts within a time limit.

There’s still no release date for Luigi’s Mansion 3, but it’s still slated for a 2019 release.
