Re:Mind DLC Announced For Kingdom Hearts III

Kingdom Hearts 3 january 2019 best seller

Following the release of the Critical Mode DLC for Kingdom Hearts III, Square Enix has already announced what’s coming next during the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra: World of Tres concert. Which so happens to be a new chapter in an upcoming DLC adventure, called Re:Mind.

Sounds good, right? We all could use some more Kingdom Hearts III in our lives. Except, outside of the announcement of the DLC, that’s all we know. There’s no release date, and the details are still slim. Word is that we’ll see an additional bosses and a new keyblade (free) and English voiceover option for the Japanese version of the title. But that’s it.

We’re hoping we hear more about Kingdom Hearts III – Re:Mind at E3 2019, however, Square Enix hasn’t even hinted that it may even happen. However, Twitter user YanilynGaming has stated that more details will be released during June 2019. Which is exactly when E3 2019 takes place. This will definitely be interesting to see what is being planned for this DLC. Maybe even a new re-release of the game that includes the DLC?

Many of you asked if there are other features coming in the DLC. These are the only ones he mentioned so far, and he can't reveal further details yet. More details to come around the rainy season (in Japan), which is around June. Release date and pricing is undecided.

Kingdom Hearts III is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. PC gamers are still holding out for a PC release, and it could happen. It happened with Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition, so hope isn’t completely gone. That and SE hasn’t ruled out the possibly. Add to the fact that Tetsuya Nomura has expressed interest on having the title on multiple platforms and that itis powered by Unreal Engine 4. Anything is possible.

While you’re here, be sure to check out our review of Kingdom Hearts III.
