Persona Is Getting the Mousu Treatment With Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers

It’s been rumored and then stated as fact that a version of Persona 5, called Persona 5 S, was heading to the Switch. Turns out all that speculation was completely off the mark. Well, not completely, as there is a version of Persona making its way to the Switch. It’s just not what the fans expected. Earlier today, Persona 5 S turned out to be Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, and boy is it different compared to the Persona games of the past.

In fact, Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is actually a Musou game. You know the kind, where it’s you against hundreds of enemies at once. Similar to the Samurai Warriors, Dynasty Warriors, and more notably Hyrule Warriors.  According to Atlus, Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is the first action RPG games of the series.

There’s no release date announced yet, but the title will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Switch. Sadly, the Xbox One and PC will be left out in the cold with this one. While it didn’t turn out to be the game that Switch fans wanted. It does look entertaining and I don’t know about you, but I enjoy Musou games. I have a feeling that Koei Tecmo and Omega Force are going to crank out one hell of a game.
