Netherrealm Studios To Address The Problematic Towers of Time In Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat 11_1280x720

While Mortal Kombat 11 releases today on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC, there’s already trouble.

More to the point, the nature in which the Towers of Time and how much of a drag they are. Forcing you to use consumables and face off against super cheap bosses. The progression through the towers has also been a main point of concern, from multiple reviews and influencers. Many have likened the game to that of a mobile game.

Not to mention multiple glitches that have prevented people from playing the Towers of Time. Toss in the concern that you can’t even play the Towers of Time when you’re disconnected as well. Which is pretty silly if you ask me, especially since it’s a single player affair anyway.

Either way, this is definitely not a good start for a game that has been only recently released.

not only that but the crates are randomized so i can't go to a specific crate to unlock something for my character. either give more rewards in the towers of time, lower the requirements for unlocks or just let people buy everything in the krypt.

Thankfully, both WB Games and NetherRealm Studios have been paying attention. As such, during yesterday’s and final Kombat Kast live stream, the team has promised to correct the problems.

As Ed Boon has stated, he’s hoping we see an update in hours, rather than days. We’ll just have to wait and see, but at the same time, it’s sad to see this happening.

MK11 PSA 😀

In case you missed yesterday’s Kombat Kast: We have a hot fix/improvements koming to address those super hard Towers of Time as well as better rewards/economy to be used in the Krypt.

Hoping/expecting it’ll be more like HOURS than days.

Will keep you posted👍🏻

How did the devs not see that this could be a concern with the community? And while exactly did they lock single player progression and requiring being online? Hopefully, that’s one of the things that get reverted and asap.

We’ll have to wait and see how this turns out, but if you’re wary about the recent turn of events. You may want to hold off on picking up Mortal Kombat 11.

As always, we’ll be following the story and will update you when we find out more information.
