If This Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Gameplay Overview Trailer Doesn’t Get You Hyped I Don’t Know What Will

There’s a brand new trailer for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, that was released today. The Gameplay Overview trailer, which serves as a primer for those who are getting ready to dive into the game this upcoming Friday.

If you’re wondering about if this is spoilery, yeah, it is a. Just not too much. There’s nothing in this trailer that you likely haven’t seen or heard about if you’ve been paying attention. Though for those on that have been on a media blackout, you might want to skip this trailer. Or not, it’s your call. I tried to avoid it, but I simply couldn’t do it.

There are two trailers, one in English and the other in Japanse. However, there’s no difference between the two.

From the makers of Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, and even Bloodborne, comes Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The latest masterpiece from, well, Fromsoftware. Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a third-person, action-adventure game with RPG elements. The single-player game puts players in the protagonist role of a hard-hearted warrior whose mission is to rescue his master, a young lord, and exact revenge on his arch nemesis. As “Sekiro,” or the “one-armed wolf,” players will discover the many ways to strategically approach combat and engage enemies.  Fans of FromSoftware will find familiarity in the gritty gameplay found in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice where combat reigns supreme. Players will enjoy combining new features, such as vertical traversal, with visceral head-to-head battles to fulfill their destiny in a vast world filled with beautiful vistas, enormous castles, bizarre weaponry, and fearsome enemies.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice releases on Friday, March 22, 2019, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. I’ve already got my pre-orders in and I can’t wait to get started. How about you?
