Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice PC Requirements Revealed On Steam

By Keith MitchellFebruary 8, 2019

Thanks to Steam, we now have the PC requirements for the upcoming title from Fromsoftware, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

What I find interesting is that the requirements, both the minimum and recommended are really tame. In fact, they’re similar to what was required for another Fromsoftware title, Dark Souls III. The difference I can see is that Dark Souls III actually required an i7-3770 processor. Where Sekiro is only requiring an i5-2500k, which is an older processor and one that many people are still rocking. Great news for anyone looking to play the title on the PC and was wondering if an upgrade would be required.

Granted I’m more than certain these specs are for either 720p or 1080p, and likely at 30fps and 60fps, respectfully. I’d imagine that for those looking to play at 1440p or even 4K, that the requirements are going to considerably more.

MINIMUM:

  • OS: Windows 7 64-bit | Windows 8 64-bit | Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i3-2100 | AMD FX-6300
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 | AMD Radeon HD 7950
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 25 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX 11 Compatible

RECOMMENDED:

  • OS: Windows 7 64-bit | Windows 8 64-bit | Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K | AMD Ryzen 5 1400
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 | AMD Radeon RX 570
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 25 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX 11 Compatible

Now, I don’t know about you but I’m really looking forward to this game. It’s only been on my most anticipated games of 2019, but also the top hack and slash games of 2019 lists. Not only am I a huge fan of Fromsoftware, but I’ve always enjoyed their Soulsborne titles. I’ve also been fascinated with Eastern culture, especially when it comes to Samurai, Ninja, and Shinobi. I suppose that’s why I’ve always enjoyed Tenchu, Ninja Gaiden and more recently, Nioh. I can’t wait to dive into Sekiro, on the PC, when it releases.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice releases on March 22, 2019, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
