Dauntless Is Now Headed To The Epic Game Store, Season Two Details Released

By Keith MitchellJanuary 30, 2019
dauntless coming to Epic Game Store

I’m sure that reporting that some game is headed over to the Epic Game Store is going to be commonplace. You know, since competition in the PC space, Steam and all that. Except for the latest game that’s headed to the store, the beast hunting title Dauntless was never on Steam. Instead, it featured its own launcher, but that’s all changing.

The developer of the title, Phoenix Labs, has announced that Dauntless is headed to the Epic Game Store later this year. As such, everyone who is currently playing the game (like me) needs to be aware of this migration. Thankfully, there’s a process to transfer over our existing accounts and we’ll be able to get started on this fairly soon. Info on how to perform the Dauntless account migration along with a comprehensive FAQ can be found here.

As for Dauntless Hunt Pass Season Two, we got news about this as well. Starting today, a brand new set of limited-time rewards, from platinum bundles to romantic emotes. Like the previous Hunt Pass season, Season Two offers two reward tracks, each consisting of 50 levels: a free Basic track and a 1,000 platinum Elite track, which rewards Slayers willing to take up the challenge with Ace chips, notes, exclusive transmogs and more. Phoenix Labs has even increased the amount of experience yielded by breaking Behemoth parts, making it easier to advance through levels and earn rewards. Season Two has also been extended to nearly 45 days total, giving Slayers until March 13th to make it to level 50.

More info on season two can be found here.

Dauntless is currently in open beta for the PC, as well as making its way to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in April 2019. While mobile versions and the Switch version coming later this year.
