Ubisoft Teases A Post-apocalyptic Far Cry Trailer Ahead Of The Game Awards 2018 Show

Far Cry reveal at games award show

Move over Fallout, watch out Rage 2 because Ubisoft is now entering the realm of post-apocalyptic games. That’s right and they’ve dropped a teaser trailer for all to check out and have stated we’ll see this new game at The Game Awards show which takes place tomorrow at 5:30 PST / 9:30 EST.

While the trailer is pretty short, it does give a glimpse of a world that simply was on the receiving end of a nuke going off.  While a narrator paints a vivid image of humanity wishing for better days. Now, those who played Far Cry 5 and have managed to apprehend the baddie of the game, well you know what happens. At the end of the game a nuke goes off and well, that’s pretty much the end of the game. Could this be the same nuke that ends up afflicting this new Far Cry title? Well, we won’t know until tomorrow but I’m guessing it is. Especially since the setting in the trailer is very similar to the setting of Far Cry 5.

I kinda like the idea of a post-apocalyptic Far Cry title. Especially if it takes what made Far Cry 4 and 5 so good, maybe even let us make some really cool weapons and have vehicles of destruction. Oh, yeah, please don’t let me know Ubisoft.

This new Far Cry game will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
