Watch 40 Minutes of God Eater 3 Gameplay From the Japanese Demo

By Keith MitchellOctober 12, 2018
God Eater 3 - In combat action

There’s a demo of God Eater 3 that was released today, on the Japanese PlayStation Store. Of course, I was interested in seeing what the demo included, so I downloaded it and took it for a spin. Honestly, it’s basically more of the same if you’ve ever played the God Eater games. If you’ve never played the game, it’s basically the anime version of a Monster Hunter game. Just bit faster.

Since the entire demo is Japanese, I’m sure I missed a bunch of stuff. Oh, this was captured on the PS4 Pro, in case you were wondering.

In the footage that you can find above, you’ll see the character customizer. It’s actually really robust and I could have spent a while customizing my character – but I didn’t this time. There’s also a bunch of combat. I fumbled a bit, again cause it’s all in Japanese. But It felt good and I eventually figured out a few moves and combos. I’ll definitely be diving back into the game for sure. If anything, I’ll get better at this before the game launches.

As for the full game, it will be available for the PlayStation 4 and PC on December 13, 2018. Yep, it’s heading to the PC via Steam and I can’t wait to see it running on the PC.
