New Jump Force Trailer Shows Yugi Moto In Combat

By Todd BlackOctober 4, 2018
Jump Force

Jump Force is easily one of the most ambitious and unique titles coming soon to a console near you. For this title brings some of the most renown anime and manga characters in history to one fighting game where our Earth is their fused battlefield. Naruto, Ichigo, One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, Hunter X Hunter, Yu Yu Hakusho and more have joined the fray. But one of the most unique characters in the game is no doubt Yugi Moto from the popular card game, video game and anime, Yu-Gi-Oh.

The main character of the original anime series, Yugi channels the power and personality of an ancient Egyptian Pharoah when he plays Duel Monsters. Which brought up an interesting question upon his announcement for the game…”How does he fight in Jump Force if he uses cards in the show?”

Simple, a new trailer reveals that while Yugi (and Ateem) will be using their decks, it will be to summon monsters like Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl, Slifer The Sky Dragon and more to battle their opponents. Given this, it’s not unreasonable to assume that magic and trap cards will also be in Yugi’s arsenal. But we’ll just have to wait and see.

You can view the Jump Force trailer with Yugi below, the game will release in February 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
