Bless Online is Coming to Consoles for Free

By Josh PiedraAugust 31, 2018
Bless Unleashed

Bandai Namco and NeoWiz announced that the MMORPG Bless Online is coming to consoles under the name of Bless Unleashed. While it will be making its way to Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Xbox One owners will receive the game first. The console version of the game will be built on a completely different engine than the PC version. It is set to use Unreal Engine 4.

The community has been very outspoken about the announcement. The PC version of the game was plagued with bugs and server issues from early access all the way through official launch. In addition, the PC version had to be purchased for $29.99. The community is feeling extremely slighted since the console version is free-to-play and built on a brand-new engine. There is no word if characters will be transferable to the console version once it goes live nor is there any word if anything from your already-existing account will be transferable either.

NeoWiz describes Bless Unleashed as follows:

Built for mature audiences, Bless Unleashed takes players on an epic multiplayer journey across a vibrant persistent world, and tasks the brave with battling – and surviving –vicious, lethal monsters that inhabit this untamed landscape.

The most visually stunning MMORPG for console. Unparalleled graphics made possible by Unreal 4.

Deeply rewarding combo-driven gameplay mechanics and persistent progression book-end an experience handcrafted for online play.

An open persistent world challenges players to survive a menagerie of mythical beasts… and each other. Integrated PVP provides danger at every turn.

However, despite all of the negative feedback thus far, there is a beta that you can sign up for if you wish to do so. You can do so through the game’s official website: https://blessunleashed.com/

Along with the announcement came a trailer for the game which you can view below:
