Headstomper 2018 Tournament Begins this Weekend

By Zachery PaikaiJuly 25, 2018
Headstomper 2018 tournament.
Headstomper 2018.

Fighting game goodness will be coming up this weekend at Headstomper 2018. From July 27th- July 29th, competitive action will ensue in Copenhagen, Denmark.

There will be stomping afoot with Phenom’s Necalli taking part in Headstomper 2018

There are a total of five games that will be featured at Headstomper 2018. We’ve got two games in the line-up which will be acting as qualifiers for future events. Tekken 7 will be a Tekken World Tour Challenger Event; Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition will be a Capcom Pro Tour Ranking Tournament. Two anime fighters are in the mix with Dragon Ball FighterZ and Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator 2. And finally, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U otherwise known as Super Smash Bros. 4 will be present.

What’s a tournament without some heavy hitters to ramp up the competition though, eh? Let me list off a few notable players who will be in attendance.

  • Tekken 7- District G| Kaneandtrench, CGG Tissuemon, Joey Fury
  • Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition- Phenom, ARES.RB| Luffy, Mousesports- Problem X
  • Dragon Ball FighterZ- EH| MajinTenshinhan, mYi KiraKira
  • Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator 2- Shinjin, I<3 Jam & her Voice| Kodain
  • Super Smash Bros. for Wii U- Laske, NWDM| DreeGon
Headstomper 2018 has a Jam enthusiast in attendance.
I’m not sure who “I<3 Jam and her Voice| Kodain” is, but I approve of the name.

Check out the Headstomper 2018 website for information regarding the tournament schedule and the channels which will be streaming the games. Also, the brackets for each game can be viewed at Tournament Mode.

From the Hawaiian islands, Nanaue, the Prince of Sharks first appeared. This shark man was uncontested in terms of video game prowess. His notoriety of being a top-tier game wiz angered the envious locals and eventually forced Nanaue into exile. His hunger for competition and game knowledge grew as time past. This in tow, leads him to delve into the sea of writing and gaming culture.
