Anime Expo 2018: Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist Game West Release Announced

By Cole EckerleJuly 9, 2018

For fans of the Tokyo Ghoul franchise, do we have news for you. Sunday at Anime Expo 2018, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced during their panel that they will be releasing the game, Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist, to both the Playstation 4 and PC in the west. Though we have not been given word on the release date as of yet, it’s still excellent news knowing that it will be coming.

Along with the release of the game from the Tokyo Ghoul franchise, Bandai Namco Entertainment has also announced and revealed that they will be launching a closed beta test for the Black Clover: Quarter Knights game. This closed beta testing will be available for those given access to it on July 15 and 16.

Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist will involve stories of both the Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul:re manga, along with an included online multiplayer mode. Bandai Namco Entertainment stated that you will be able to play as either Haise Sasaki or Ken Kaneki. Depending on who you choose to play as that will determine whether you fight for the Ghouls or the Investigators.

It’s been a great year overall for fans of the Tokyo Ghoul franchise with a plentiful amount of the additions to the franchise being released. To add to the already large pile of content, Funimation has recently released a smartphone game called Tokyo Ghoul: Dark War. So if you need a Tokyo Ghoul related game to hold you over until the release of Tokyo Ghoul: re Call to Exist, this smartphone game may be for you.
