Switch Version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker Gets Demo on eShop

By Todd BlackJune 22, 2018
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

Nintendo has been killing it as of late by providing demos of upcoming games for interested parties to try out and see if they would want to purchase it. There as the BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Demo, the Mario Tennis Aces Demo, the Octopath Traveler Demo, and now, one for the Switch port of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker that arrives in full next month.

The demo originally came out in Europe and Japan, but now, Nintendo has made it available to US gamers as well. If you’ve never played the Wii U or 3DS versions of the title, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a spinoff from Mario featuring the titular Captain Toad. You’ll traverse many levels in search of treasure. The catch is that Captain Toad can’t jump, and so you must move the camera around to find new paths for him to follow.

This is but the latest port to be coming to the Switch, May say ports of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and Hyrule Warriors arrive, and there are more ports coming later this year.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker arrives on July 13th, so you can use the demo to see if it’s something you’ll want to invest in when it arrives.
