Capcom Releases Some 4K Resident Evil 2 Remake Footage

By Keith MitchellJune 20, 2018
Resident Evil 2

It’s Resident Evil 2, in 4K!

New footage of Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 Remake was released today.  You can thank Capcom for this. Well, alright, it’s not exactly new footage as we’ve seen this from E3 2018. This recent video, however, has been recorded in 4K. Which was something that wasn’t available during E3 2018.

So if you’ve seen this already, you won’t see anything new here. Still, it is in 4K and that’s good to see that they’re this far along. No mention on if this footage is from the PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One X or the PC. Either way, it looks amazingly good.

But don’t take my word for it, check out the trailer below.

It’s looking mighty fine in 4K, isn’t it? And yes, the PS4 Pro, Xbox One X and PC will also have 4K support. So get your 4K TV/monitors ready. Or don’t, as it will look just as fine on a 108p display as well.

Resident Evil 2 Remake arrives on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on January 29, 2019. I don’t know about you but I can’t wait for this. I loved Resident Evil 2 back on the PlayStation 1. I definitely can’t wait to play it again. But it won’t be the same game as

While you wait for the release, why not check out our “What we know about Resident Evil 2 Remake“? It’s a good read!
