Soulcalibur VI’s PC System Requirements Revealed Alongside New 4K Footage

The first time that Bandai Namco’s Soulcalibur’s series has been released is shaping up to be an amazing experience. Similar to how they brought Tekken 7  to the PC, it seems that Bandai Namco is sparing no expense on making the look amazing. Which is great for all us PC gamers.

As such, they’ve finally released the PC specs required. Both the minimum and recommended settings.  Check those out below.

Minimum System Requirements

  • CPU: Intel Core Intel Core i3-4160 @ 3.60GHz or equivalent
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (Legacy GPUs: GeForce GTX 660, 750 Ti, or equivalent)
  • RAM: 6GB
  • OS: Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 (64-bit versions)
  • HDD: 60GB free space
  • DirectX: Version 11

Recommended System Requirements

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 3.5 GHz or equivalent
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 1060, or equivalent, or higher
  • RAM: 8GB
  • OS: Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 (64-bit versions)
  • HDD: 60GB free space
  • DirectX: Version 11

As you can see, the requirements for both are quite tame. With either the Intel i5-4690 / AMD FX 8350 or greater only required for recommended. Along with the either the Nvidia GTX 1060 / RX 580 or greater required for the GPU duties. Recommended is also what’s needed to play at either 1920×1080 or 2560×1440 at 60FPS.

While there isn’t any listing for what you’ll need to run the game at 4K. I’m going to take a stab and say that a Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti is going to be needed.

Soulcalibur VI‘s release date is set for October 19 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Which version are you picking up when the game is finally released? You know me, I’ll be playing this on PC, day one!
