ELEVEN ARTS Anime Studio Announces Dub Cast for Haikara-san: Here Comes Miss Modern

ELEVEN ARTS Anime Studio has announced the English dub cast for the theatrical release for Haikara-san: Here Comes Miss Modern! The movie is scheduled to release in North American theaters this summer on June 8! The English dub for the film has been announced as:

Mimi Torres as Benio Hanamura
Notable Roles: Ilyana (Sleeping Dogs), Kasumi Nakano (Fallout 4)

Robbie Daymond as Shinobu Ijuin
Notable Roles: Shoya (A Silent Voice), Dr. Kurahashi (Sword Art Online), Joe Kido (Digimon Adventures Tri. 5)

Keith Silverstein as Tosei Aoe
Notable Roles: Torbjorn (Overwatch), Shido (Persona 5), Red Caster “William Shakespear”(Fate Apocrypha)

Kirk Thornton as Shingo Onijima
Notable Roles: Kisame, Tazuna (Naruto), Jin (Samurai Champloo)

Cristina Vee as Tamaki Kitakoji
Notable Roles: Sailor Mars (Sailor Moon), Kasha Grahm (Tiger & Bunny: The Rising), Homura Akemi (Madoka Magica: Rebellion)

 ELEVEN ARTS Anime Studio describes Haikara-san: Here Comes Miss Modern as follows:

During the Taisho era of 1918, 17-year-old Benio Hanamura thrives on bucking tradition. As a boisterous and quarrelsome tomboy, Miss Hanamura leads a life of kendo and tree-climbing adventure with her best friends Tamaki and Ranmaru. Benio determines to find love on her own, though her family has other plans. Benio will encounter tests of love, independence, and friendship during wartime.
