When we think of video games, we don’t just think of the characters and worlds within those titles, but the people who help make them. Beyond that, we look at the publishers who release them. Each publisher has faces that are recognizable, but you could argue that few are as recognizable as Reggie-Fils-Aime, who is celebrating his 57th birthday today.
Reggie Fils-Aime came to Nintendo in 2003, and “unveiled” himself to the world at E3 2004 in a big and fun way. Since then, he’s become a man associated with passion, fun, a desire to please the Nintendo fans, and a guy not afraid to make fun of himself at times.
Reggie is, in fact, the source of numerous memes, including his legendary “My Body Is Ready” line. Among others of course.
We thank you for your service Reggie, and we hope we get to see you for many years to come.
