Dark Souls Remastered Network Test Will Be For All Platforms

By Keith MitchellMarch 14, 2018
Dark Souls Remastered

Well, except for the PC

During the recent Nintendo Direct, it was mentioned that Bandai Namco would be rolling out a network test for Dark Souls Remastered. Seeing how this is the first Dark Souls to appear on a Nintendo system and knowing how Nintendo still doesn’t have their network stuff together, this only made sense. However, fans of the series started questioning if the other systems that were going to receive the game, PS4/Xbox One, would be able to get in on the action.

The answer to that is yes. In a tweet that appeared on the Dark Souls twitter account, this was confirmed. There’s no other information outside of there will be a test for all the systems. Well, with the exception of a network test for the PC.

Before the release of DARK SOULS REMASTERED, a Network Test will be conducted on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Dates and details will be made available as soon as possible. Please inform your compatriots, we will require the assistance of as many souls as possible. pic.twitter.com/lZ0ZgKdxsf

More information regarding the network test will be posted via the Dark Souls twitter account. So if you’re interested in partaking in some joyful cooperation, or PVP action, keep your eyes locked over there. Or here, as we’ll be dropping the knowledge here as well. I mean, I’m one of Dark Souls biggest fans after all!

Dark Souls Remastered will be released on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on May 25, 2018. Updated graphics, the Artorias of the Abyss DLC, and dedicated servers for up to six-player multiplayer (co-op and PVP). Not to mention that now that the game is coming to the Nintendo Switch, we finally have a Dark Souls themed amiibo of yours truly – Solaire. I already got mine…. yes, I have two of them and they’re all mine!
