Dragon Ball FighterZ Fixes Are Indeed Coming

By Keith MitchellFebruary 22, 2018
Dragon Ball FighterZ

Tomoko Hiroki lets us know that she’s listening

While Dragon Ball FighterZ is easily the best tag format fighter to be released in quite some time (Sorry, MvCI). That’s not to say that the game doesn’t have its fair share of issues, there are quite a few of them. From the disconnection issues, the ring match is problematic and of course, there’s a little issue with the balancing of certain characters.

However, the producer of the title, Tomoko Hiroki, wants to let everyone know that she’s aware of the problems. In a recent update today, Tomoko not only wanted to thank the community for embracing the game. She also wanted to let everyone know that Bandai Namco is aware of the problems and are working on them.

They plan to release a patch later this month to address some of the issues. She does warn that this patch won’t address everything, so another patch in mid-March will follow the initial patch. And if that doesn’t fix the issue, they’ll keep working on it until they fix all the problems.

Update: Added the YouTube video instead of the Twitter post.

I have to say that I love the transparency that Tomoko has giving the community. She’s been on top all things Dragon Ball FighterZ related, which shows that she really cares about the game and the longevity of it. Hopefully, the problems I mentioned previously will be corrected by those upcoming patches. Now, about Android 16’s dunking problem.

Lastly, don’t forget that Tomoko has also announced that she’ll be competing in the upcoming Dragon Ball FighterZ tourney at EVO 2018. I’m sure she’s going to be sending quite a few players to the loser bracket.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Steam).
