Yuki Kajiura Leaves Space Craft Produce Agency

Yuki Kaijura, who many anime fans regard as one of the best anime composers of modern times alongside Yoko Kanno and Hiroyuki Sawano, announced that she is leaving the Space Craft Produce agency. One of the bands that was being produced by Kajiura was Kalafina, but despite Kajiura’s departure, Kalafina will continue to produce music under the talent agency’s label. Kalafina has produced songs for various anime such as Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Black Butler, Fate/Zero, Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works and many other series.

Kajiura also announced the closure of her FictionJunction fan club, but reassured fans that her planned concerts as part of her Yuki Kajiura Live Vol#14 tour are still planned. The dates for those concerts are June 30, July 1 and July 15 in Chiba and July 12 in Osaka. She took to Twitter to thank all of her fans for their support and to tell them that she will continue to produce music, but would be doing so independently for the time being.  This marks the end of a storied 25-year career at Space Craft Produce.

Yuki Kaijura has produced music and soundtracks for numerous anime such as Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Sword Art Online, Fate/Zero, Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works, Fate/stay night Heaven’s Feel, Princess Principal, Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle and many others.
