Naughty Dog’s upcoming single player DLC that was announced during Spike’s Playstation 4 All Access event will give us some background on Ellie and her best friend, Riley, who Ellie spoke about during the game and will finally show us what happened to them prior to Ellie meeting up with Joel. Riley was also introduced to us in The Last of Us: American Dreams, so if you haven’t read it you probably should to get more insight on the character. And it also gives you one more reason to trade in or toss out that Playstation 3 that you’ve been holding on to, this is going to be EPIC! Sadly no release date was announced but we can likely expect this early 2014.
