Media Molecule’s ‘Dreams’ Featured at TGA with New Trailer

Media Molecule – the creators of Little Big Planet – has been teasing their latest creation-oriented game Dreams for the past two years. They have not shared any new information for several months, which begged the question if Dreams was still in the works. Fortunately, the developers showcased a brand new trailer for their ambitious project at last night’s Game Awards.

“Play our dream, and shape your own” suggests that there will be a game mode less focused on creation, perhaps something akin to a story mode. But of course, players will have the opportunity to create their own levels or “dreams”.

From the official site:

Dreams is a space where you go to play and experience the dreams of Media Molecule and our community. It’s also a space in which to create your own dreams, whether they’re games, art, films, music or anything in-between and beyond.

After a long period of silence, it’s exciting to learn more about Dreams. The trailer also slates the game for a 2018 release. Dreams is coming to PlayStation 4 and will have PSVR support.
