Atlus officially confirms that Shin Megami Tensei V is coming to the West for the Nintendo Switch.
To commemorate, they released the English version of the trailer when first announced back in Japan. Nothing new shown asides from the translation from the original. It somewhat ironic when the trailer said ” In a lightless age of corruption.” While this is not surprising to fans, it is always good to get the official announcement. Only few screenshots are released, showing off Tokyo, demons and the fallen world that will soon to be. Is the character shown off our avatar? Will it allows us for the law, chaos, or neutral path? Will there be new demons for us to control? We will update should details develop. No release window as of yet though.
Shin Megami Tensei V is in development and exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. The main game site is also available.
