Nioh Complete Editon PC Patch Address Several Issues

By Keith MitchellNovember 15, 2017

We’re two weeks past from the release of Nioh: Complete Edition on PC, and we’ve already received two patches. Which is two more than we’ve received from Square Enix’s NieR: Automata release.

In this latest patch, several issues have been corrected. Such as the performance drops when using the shadow hight quality setting, and saving data. The shadow quality fix is good news, as I had reported in my impressions piece that it did tend to cause issues on lower end machines. Hopefully, this will help gain a few more frames.

Check out the patch notes below:

  • Fixed an issue in which changing the “Matching Area” in online settings to “Unlimited” would still result in being limited to your own area.
  • Fixed an issue in which an error would occur while saving data if there was no C drive.
  • Improved performance when the “Shadows” option is set to “High Quality” in the graphics settings.

If you haven’t picked up Nioh: Complete Edition on PC, because of it’s outstanding issues. Then be sure to read up on our impressions piece and check out our gameplay recordings of the game on YouTube.
