The Surge Is Getting A Complete Edition, A Walk In The Park Release Date

By Keith MitchellOctober 31, 2017
The Surge A Walk In The Park

Focus Home Interactive has finally let us know when we can expect the DLC “A Walk in the Park” for The Surge. Well, somewhat, as we don’t have an exact date – but we do know that it’s coming in Dec. 2018.

With this comes 16 new weapons, of which we haven’t seen before. New armor sets, implants and more ways to customize our loveable hero. No word on how many new baddies will be introduced, but I’d imagine there’s going to be lots of them. In fact, we can see glimpses of them in the screenshots below.

CREO World presents a wealth of fresh challenges. Originally built to celebrate CREO and its mission, the park is a radically different setting from the rest of the complex, full of branching paths and secrets to discover. Survive and explore the park’s attractions before taking on a fearsome boss in the devastated park. Through technical and spectacular fights, you will face this new threat, cutting and equipping 16 all-new weapons, sets of armor, and implants to upgrade and further customize the way you want to play.

In addition, they’ve also announced a new version of The Surge, The Surge: Complete Edition. This release will include the full game and both DLC’s (Fire and Ice, A Walk in the Park). This new edition will be available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Editor’s Note: I loved The Surge and I can’t wait to dive back into the game with this new DLC. I already have over 200 hours in the game. Bring it on Focus Home Interactive, I can take it.
