Warner Bros and DC Teen Titans Animated Film is a GO! for July 2018

By Clinton Bowman-ChristieSeptember 26, 2017
Teen Titans Go! Vs Teen Titans

Calling a spade a spade, if you were to ask most fans of Teen Titans about Teen Titans GO!, they’d probably want to throttle you for even asking. That hasn’t stopped the zany new series from being a bonafide success, spawning an animated film that until yesterday was largely unknown. Warner Bros even gave the title a release date: July 28, 2017.

Teen Titans GO!
Teen Titans GO features the Titans in some of their zaniest adventures yet

Teen Titans GO! features Robin, Beast Boy, Cyborg, Raven, and Starfire in what can be looked at as a slice-of-life show, taking a different look at what the Titans do when they aren’t fighting their supervillain counterparts. There isn’t much information on the show based on the release sent by Warner Bros, however, it remains to be seen how the quick format of the show will be adapted into a feature film. It is to be stated that Warner Bros. has done this previously with their Looney Tunes franchise, as has Hanna-Barbera with Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound and most notably, Tom and Jerry.

On the flipside, the Teen Titans are slated for quite a bit of content in 2018. DC’s new streaming service is slated to host the incoming Titans live action show, where casting is almost complete. Young Justice season 3 is coming in  2018 as well and will be airing on DC’s service with plans to feature quite a few of the Titans.

If you’re a Titans fan, you’ll have quite a bit to be excited for in 2018.
