Dragon Ball FighterZ Super Saiyan Blue Goku And Vegeta In Action

By Keith MitchellAugust 25, 2017

While Bandai Namco has shown off glimpses of Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta, we’ve finally got to see them in action. A short trailer was shown off at the end of the Dragon Ball FighterZ tournament that was held during Gamescom 2017. We got to see both of the iconic characters duke it out against each other, but also the first look at Goku’s Dragon Ball Super technique.

Yep, it’s confirmed that Goku will be able to use the same tech that he used again Hit, Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-ken! Once he activates this, it’s pretty much game over for our pal, Vegeta. On top of that, it looks like the SSB versions have a different move set than the normal characters. we do know there are two different since Bandai Namco is offering early access to both SSB Goku and Vegeta if you pre-order Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Check out the gameplay below.

Dragon Ball FighterZ hits the PS4, Xbox One and PC, in Feb. 2018.  In addition to the standard version, a collectors edition that includes the following:

  • A copy of Dragon Ball FighterZ
  • 7” Goku statue with exclusive “Manga Dimension” coloring
  • Exclusive STEELBOOK
  • Three Art Boards
  • A CollectorZ box to house all the items listed above

I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to get my hands on this! I had a blast playing this at E3 2017 and I can’t wait to get more time with this gem.
