From the creators of titles such as Contra 4, Mighty Switch Force and Double Dragon Neon comes Shantae, the half genie half hero. I’m pretty sure most of you are away of this title being up on kickstarter, but this isn’t for you. This is for those who aren’t in the know and may miss out on this opporunity to help create this wonder game in the making.
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is a story about Shantae (Obviously) who has appeared in many games that only appeared on Nintendo handheld but now she’s the star of her own game. Fused with gameplay elements from Legend of Zelda, Castlevania and Metroid, Shantae:HGH will have something for everyone to enjoy, especially gamers who grew up on those titles. This time she’s out to find the source of a new evil power and get rid of it once and all, spread across four chapters.
Now while the game is way past it’s original funding, currently at $731,000 out of the original $400,00, the game is going to meet it’s goal however more funding is always good.

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero will be heading to Wii U, PS3, PS4, VITA & VITA TV, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Steam (Windows PC). And yes, I most definitely did chip in!
