Watch 35 Minutes of Cronos: The New Dawn Gameplay From Bloober Team

Cronos: The New Dawn is an upcoming third-person survival horror game from Bloober Team that blends intense action with eerie psychological horror. It brings to mind classics like Dead Space and Resident Evil, which is probably why I’ve been following it ever since it was first announced. After seeing some of the early previews, I was honestly a little jealous that I couldn’t be part of the coverage. Still, I’m happy to see that Bloober Team looks to be on the right track.

So, imagine my surprise when I found out Bloober Team had quietly released 35 minutes of Cronos The New Dawn gameplay I hadn’t seen before. The moment I saw it, I threw the stream up on my 4K TV, shut off the lights, and sank into the couch to take it all in. Then I watched it again. And again.

Check out the gameplay for yourself.

It was impressive. From the dark atmosphere to the creature design and pacing, this gameplay footage only reinforced my feeling that this game is going to be something special.

Especially for fans of Dead Space like me. I love Dead Space ever since I played the series on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.  Heck, I still own those copies, as well as the Dead Space remake. So when Cronos finally releases, I’ll be diving in headfirst, and there is no telling when I’ll come back up for air.

If this early look is anything to go by, Cronos The New Dawn could end up being one of the standout horror games of the year.

Cronos The New Dawn launches on October 15, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store).  The game is also headed to the Switch 2 on September 5, 2025.
