FINAL FANTASY XIV Patch 7.4 also brings a hugely anticipated update to the glamour system, allowing players to change the appearance of their gear irrespective of class, job or level restrictions, aside from weapons and tools*. The update opens up a world of fashion options for Warriors of Light who want to mix and match customised outfits like never before, for wherever their adventure takes them.
Another highlight of the update is the grand finale of the popular Arcadion raid series, starting with today’s release of the Heavyweight Division, with the more challenging Savage mode arriving 6th January. As part of the “AAC Heavyweight M4” and “AAC Heavyweight M4 (Savage)” raid encounters, a new track, titled “Everything Burns” by Grammy Award-winning artist Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, Prophets of Rage) featuring Caleb Shomo (Beartooth) is set to feature on Tom Morello’s new album. The track will also be available as a standalone single on Wednesday, 17th December.

- Glamour System Updates – Removal of level/class/job-restrictions on gear for glamour purposes, allowing players to glamour the appearance of gear regardless of previous level, class, and job restrictions.
- *Due to the impact on character animations, weapons and tools can only be equipped by the corresponding class/job
- PvP Updates – The start of PvP Series 10, existing action adjustments, and the addition of a new Frontline map and campaign: Worqor Chirteh (Triumph)
- Miscellaneous Updates – A new Air Force One destination in the Gold Saucer, New UI colour themes (Clear White, Clear Green), Strategy Board, Command Panel, and more
