While at the preview event for The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak 2, the staff revealed a big secret: a demo for the game is coming out!
The demo will be released on January 24th, 2025. It shows two different things. The first is the beginning of the game proper. You will be able to play through a portion of Chapter 1, and your save will carry over to the full game when it is released.
The second thing is an introduction to the Märchen Garten. You can select two different parties to deal with two different dungeons that show up in Märchen Garten. This save data does not carry over to the main game so it is an entirely optional part of the demo unless you want to see how much better combat has evolved since the first game.
The only bad news is the demo is exclusive to the PlayStation platform. It will only release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. If you are someone who is gonna get it on the Nintendo Switch or PC, you will have to wait until the launch date before you get your chance to play the game.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak 2 will be released on February 14th, 2025 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The demo for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 will release on January 24th, 2025.
