Nintendo Alarmo Gets Retail Delay

Time waits for no one!

Nintendo made a series of “unique” announcements at the end of 2024 that proved that the company wasn’t out of “weird ideas” for fans to try out. One of those was the “Nintendo Alarmo,” which was exactly as it sounds, a Nintendo-themed alarm clock. Specifically, this clock would monitor you as you sleep and then use music from various franchises to wake you up in the morning. The catch was that this thing was only available via the Nintendo Switch Online service, with it coming to retail stores in January of 2025. Well, it’s that month now, and The Big N has decided to push things back a bit…

Nintendo Sound Clock: #Alarmo will remain a timed exclusive offer for Nintendo Switch Online members until early March, postponed from mid-January. After that, it will be available to buy from selected retailers in certain countries. Thank you for your understanding. pic.twitter.com/zookmVhtfl

So, why did the clock get this delay? It might be because of supply and demand. In this case, the demand is more than the supply is currently offering. Thus, The Big N will want to restock the Nintendo Alarmo heavily before putting it out in stores. Stay tuned for more updates on this front.
