Nine Years Laters, Amazon Cancels Mighty No. 9 3DS Pre-Orders

By Josh PiedraJanuary 5, 2025

Just in case you were one of those people praying in front of a makeshift Mighty No. 9 shrine every night, hoping Keiji Inafune and Comcept would come through with a Nintendo 3DS version of Mighty No. 9, I have some bad news for you… Amazon has sent out emails to let their customers know that they have officially canceled all pre-orders for the Nintendo 3DS version of the game.

I know this might come as a shock to you but after nine long years, reality has come crashing down and you won’t be getting your hands on a portable copy of one of the most anticipated games of 2016. We just hope you’re not terribly disappointed in the fact that you won’t be able to play Mighty No. 9 on a system that went permanently offline in April of last year and stopped producing carts 5 years ago.

A shame.
