See You Tomorrow at the Food Court Receives TV Anime

By Josh PiedraDecember 13, 2024

It was announced that Shinichiro Nariie’s See You Tomorrow at the Food Court manga has received a television anime adaptation!

The anime is planned for a 2025 release and is being produced by studio Atelier Pontdarc. Composition for the series is being handled by Jukki Hanada while character designs and chief animation direction is being handled by Kyuta Sakai. The music for the anime is being done by Kana Utatane while sound direction is being handled by Jin Akutagawa.

Yen Press is publishing the series in North America and describes it as follows:

To their classmates, Wada is a quiet rich girl while Yamamoto is an intimidating lone wolf…but what they don’t know is that Wada is a mobile game addict in a passionate love-hate relationship (with a 2D character) and Yamamoto has a penchant for urban legends with eyes only for her favorite YouTuber. And their biggest not-so-secret secret—these unlikely friends meet at the food court every day after school to rant, rave, and learn what makes each other tick!
