Astro Bot

Team ASOBI Studio Director Nicolas Doucet announced during the most recent State of Play that ASTRO Bot would receive free speedrun DLC later in the fall. Yesterday, via the PlayStation Blog Doucet revealed the levels are releasing on a weekly basis starting with the first one being available now.

They’ll continue to come out each Thursday at 9am ET/6am PT until the final one releases on November 14. Each level includes leaderboards and new rescuable VIP bots. Two were already revealed to be Eve from Stellar Blade and The Helldivers from Helldivers 2.

Astro Bot Speedrun DLC Release Schedule…

October 17: Building Speed
October 24: Let it Slide
October 31: Spring-loaded Run
November 7: Helium Heights
November 14: Rising Heat

Doucet ends the blog post by teasing that there may be even more to come for ASTRO soon.

We want to thank you again for all the love and support you have given to Astro Bot, it means the world to us. That’s all we have for today, however watch this space as there may be even more surprises coming soon.

Considering how much we loved ASTRO Bot in our review, getting more ASTRO is certainly awesome news.
